1. AGRICULTURE (10,000 a.C)

Agriculture (from the Latin agri ‘field’, and cultūra ‘cultivation’, ‘raising’) is the set of techniques and knowledge to cultivate the land and the part of the primary sector that is dedicated to it. It encompasses the different works of soil treatment and vegetable crops.

2. FIRE (1 MILLION YEARS AGO)
It is called fire to the group of particles or incandescent molecules of combustible matter capable of emitting visible light. It is a product of a chemical reaction of violent oxidation. The flames are the parts of the fire that emit visible light.

3. WHEEL (3500 a.C)
The wheel is a circular mechanical part that rotates around an axis. It can be considered a simple machine, and is part of the set called machine elements. It is one of the fundamental inventions in the history of humanity, for its great utility in the elaboration of pottery, automobiles and other machines.

4. VIAGRA (1996)
Sildenafil Citrate (compound UK-92,480), sold under the trademark Viagra, Revatio, and others, is a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PPH). It was originally developed by British scientists.

5. WRITING (4000 a.C)
Writing is a system of graphic representation of a language, by means of signs drawn or engraved on a medium. In this sense, writing is a typically human graphic way of transmitting information.

6. MOP (1964)
The mop, rag, pigtail, smooth, wash floors or floor cloth is a tool used to clean the floor wet. It usually consists of a stick at the end of which are absorbent fringes. It was invented by Spanish aeronautic engineer Manuel Corominas while on a trip in the 1950s to the US. He noticed at the time that people often used a piece of cloth wrung out in rollers into a bucket, used in cleaning the aeroplane hangar. This inspired him to create his own version which we know as the mop.

7. INTERNET (1969/1974)
The internet is a decentralized set of interconnected communication networks that use the TCP/IP family of protocols, which guarantees that the heterogeneous physical networks that make it up as a single logical network of worldwide scope. Its origins go back to the 1960s.

8. PENICILLINE (1928)
Penicillins are antibiotics of the group of beta-lactams used profusely in the treatment of infections caused by sensitive bacteria. The majority of penicillins are derivatives of 6-amino penicillanic acid.

9. VACCINES (1796)
A vaccine is a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a certain disease. A vaccine typically contains an agent that resembles a microorganism that causes the disease and is often made from weakened or dead forms of the microbe.

10. ANESTHESIA (1842)
Anesthesia (from greek Ἀναισθησία, meaning “insensibility”) is a controlled medical act in which drugs are used to block the tactile and painful sensibility of a patient, either in whole or in part of his body.
